2012, the most talked about year in modern history is upon us. A lot of the speculation and many predictions that abound have their roots in an interpretation of the Mayan calendar which suggests that the Sun is completing a cosmic cycle and beginning a new one.
Looking astrologically at the 21st December 2012 (a popular date in predictions), I found there is a rare alignment of Jupiter in Gemini, Saturn in Scorpio and Pluto in Capricorn which forms a yod, or finger of fate in the heavens.

On the 4th June 2011 Jupiter entered Taurus and began a positive period of growth for you. Saturn enters Scorpio on the 5th October 2012 and its influence in your life turns to the area of communication, understanding and learning. The qualities of Scorpio are more associated with feelings rather than intellect and reason which may have been dominant while Saturn was in Libra.
