Below you will find a guide to the general influences on your star sign of two major planets through 2010. The first is Jupiter which is associated with spirituality, adventure, opportunity and good fortune. The other is Saturn which astrologers associate with responsibility, commitment, organisation and structure.

JUPITER
Jupiter entered Pisces on 18th January. In Pisces Jupiter will be encouraging you to trust in yourself and follow your intuition. However, this does suggest that there will be movement in your life and if you need to make important decisions you should now have the confidence and belief to carry them out. We know there are no guarantees in life, but if you are willing to let go of the things you don’t need the chances are you are going to gain in some way. The maxim nothing ventured nothing gained should be remembered this year. Essential to the growth opportunities this year is your ability to trust you feelings; you may find that meditation and yoga support you in this.
In the summer between 6th June and 9th September, Jupiter’s influence may be quite different. It may activate a desire to make a fresh start especially with regard to career, marriage or parenting. The inspiration and insights you receive at the time can be a portent of things to come, although it may not be until 2011 that you actually get started and truly embrace the new experiences that you envisage.
SATURN
Saturn began a cycle at the end of 2009 that occurs every 28 – 30 years. This transit of Libra by Saturn represents a testing but important period regarding matters close to home. Significant challenges in relation to family issues could present themselves, but although this is a time of tests and challenges there is no reason you should fail! Perhaps the most important thing to remember is the spirit of co-operation. It is very easy for us to take on too much especially where family is concerned. Remember to ask for support when and where you need it; you will gain nothing by exhausting yourself when you could make life a lot easier by sharing the load. It is quite likely that others will be demanding of you during this period, and that caring ability that Cancerians possess is bound to be put to good use. By ensuring others pull their weight and do their share you will be taking care of them as well as yourself. You should consider carefully your own expectations as well as those you perceive to be the expectation of others. Are they realistic? Sometimes people need to be asked for help before they will give it and some do as little as possible while you are ready and willing to do it for them.
There is a period between 7th April and 21st July 2010 when you will have an opportunity to further develop your skills and other areas of interest to you. If you focus on putting your life in order at this time it could well pay dividends later. Likewise if you leave undone now the things that require your attention they may lead to more difficult situations to deal with in the future. It can be tiresome attending to details but worth it in the long run.
