Below you will find a guide to the general influences on your star sign of two major planets through 2010. The first is Jupiter which is associated with spirituality, adventure, opportunity and good fortune. The other is Saturn which astrologers associate with responsibility, commitment, organisation and structure.
To succeed in life we need to base our hope and optimism on real and tangible possibilities that address our needs and resources as well as those of the world in which we live. The time of empty speculation and unsound investment is over and a new world order is in the making.
The following forecasts relate to the opportunities that Jupiter represents and how as an Libran you may benefit from the life experiences it brings, while the information on Saturn represents the structure and foundations that you will need to have in place in order to achieve this.

JUPITER
In the main Jupiter has been good news for you over the past year and this positive influence prevails at the beginning of 2010. Creativity, passion and play, have been encouraged by Jupiter helping you to have the confidence to enjoy the things you really love. You may have developed a hobby or pastime and children may have played an important role in your life.
From 18th January there has been a different influence from Jupiter as it entered Pisces. The area of work health and healing will then become more of a focus. During 2010 you will have an opportunity to focus on your work and further develop your skills. This is generally a time when you can enjoy working with and in the service of others. If you work in the field of health and healing you could be in for a very busy time. This year can also be very positive when it comes to your own health, trust your intuition in this regard and don’t be afraid to implement fitness routines and dietary adjustments if you feel they would benefit you.
Between 6th June and 9th September Jupiter starts new balls rolling in the area of relationship, although things may not progress fully in this area until 2011. In this summer period of 2010 you are encouraged to make more of the relationships that are important to you. This is a time when you may find it almost impossible to sit on the fence or enter into a lengthy debate. You will probably find you are far more assertive than usual and less inclined to wait on others before going for what you need. You may in fact surprise others and yourself with this new and confident approach to life.
There is a period in 2010 when Jupiter makes a short visit into Aries that is between 6th June and 9th September. This is a time when new beginnings beckon you. Opportunities and experiences that occur through these summer months can help you push ahead in many areas of your life, although this progress may not be realised until 2011. Jupiter last occupied your sign in 1999 when it may have given you similar opportunities.
SATURN
Saturn travels through Libra once every 28 to 30 years and its most recent journey began at the end of October 2009. It will be in your sign until the autumn of 2012. Saturn relates to the cycles of learning that give us maturity. We learn about ourselves and we learn about life from the responsibilities we take on. If you were born before the early eighties you may like to ask yourself what you were doing back then and what have achieved. While Saturn may be testing you on what you have learned during the last cycle it is also preparing you for the next one. Libra governs relationship and being a Libran, your likes and dislikes define your relationship with yourself. If you like your job, are contented with your lifestyle and home life, then you have the basis for success and happiness. Saturn may test you by exposing the areas of your life that you are not happy with but thankfully Saturn will, in time, give you the wisdom to sort out these problematic areas of your life.
Between 7th April and 21st July Saturn returns to Virgo, the significance of this is that it allows you breathing space and time to clear your head before embarking in earnest on implementing necessary changes or adjustments. Make sure you get some time for quiet reflection during this period. You may find that others act as catalysts for change and the lessons you need to learn in 2010. At times it is going to be hard work, but if you are able to see beyond your expectations and have a willingness and openness to change then you are more likely to benefit from the challenges you face from Saturn this year.
